Geisinger's Department of Urology consists of a team of distinguished experts dedicated to patient care, education and research.

Under the direction of Daniel Rukstalis, MD, Geisinger's urology program is one of America's premier centers for the diagnosis and treatment of male and female urological conditions. Geisinger is one of a select few centers in Pennsylvania to treat both pediatric and adult patients with urological disorders.

Geisinger urologists are leaders in pioneering and practicing the latest treatment options for a variety of urological conditions, including laparoscopic prostatectomies, using the most advanced surgical robotic technology, as well as cryosurgery and laparoscopic nephrectomies.
